New Clients
I require a meet-and-greet for all new clients before I can provide any services. This gives us the chance to meet, talk about your pet’s routine, and go over any special needs. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about my services. Please contact me in advance to schedule this meeting so we can find a time that works for both of us. If possible, please have a spare key ready at the meeting so I’m prepared to start when service begins.
Minimum Care for Pet Sitting Services
I want your pets to receive the best care possible. Based on my professional experience, I recommend the following minimum care for pet sitting:
For Dogs: I suggest that dogs get outside for potty breaks and some exercise at least three times per day, with no more than 9-10 hours between visits. At least one of these visits should be a 30-minute drop-in to allow time for feeding and ensuring your dog is comfortable and not experiencing separation anxiety.
For Cats: Cats should have at least one visit per day. I’ll monitor their food and water intake, as well as their general well-being, to catch any signs of illness or distress early. If you have an indoor/outdoor cat, I prefer to keep them indoors while I care for them to ensure their safety.
Scheduling Requests
To ensure that I can accommodate your needs, please note the following:
Walks or runs: Please request these by 3 p.m. the day before so I have time to finalize the schedule.
Drop-In Pet Sitting: Please give me at least 24 hours' notice for drop-in services.
Overnight Care: Please allow at least 3 days to reserve a sitter for overnight care.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that things can come up unexpectedly. If you need to cancel a service, here’s the breakdown of the cancellation fees:
Same Day Cancellations: If you cancel on the day of the scheduled service, you will be charged 100% of the total service fee.
The Day Before Cancellations: If you cancel the day before the scheduled service, you will be charged 50% of the total service fee.
3-2 Days Before Cancellations: If you cancel 2-3 days before the scheduled service, you will be charged 25% of the total service fee.
